HOLO TACO

Holo Taco is the nail polish brand created by YouTube simplynailogical (Cristine). I have been following her since 2014 when I first got started in the nail polish game, and it has been so fun to watch her success. Early on in her career, she made nail art tutorials. In those videos she would always mention adding a "holo top coat" but many comments on those videos were of people thinking she was saying "holo taco" and she fully embraced it! Later, she coined that phrase and turned it into her nail polish brand's name.

I am so excited to finally get my hands on some Holo Taco! The polishes I chose were:

Not Milky White

Aurora Unicorn Skin

Flakie Holo Taco

Rainbow Snow

NOT MILKY WHITE

Shown here are 2 coats of Not Milky White. I was blown away with the opacity of this polish and it is going to be the most perfect base for nail art! 

AURORA UNICORN SKIN

This is one coat of Aurora Unicorn Skin over Olive & June Fierce & Loving. Unfortunately the camera wasn't able to pick up how beautifully the polish was transformed!

This is a coat of Aurora Unicorn Skin over white. Using this polish over white brings out more of the green/blue flakie shift, making it super unique!

Personally my favorite is this polish over black! You are able to see the pink and purple of the glitter more and it is so fun to think of the endless possiblities! You could put this topper on so many colors and it will completely transform your mani!

FLAKIE HOLO TACO

Here is one coat of Flakie Holo Taco over black. This is another topper that no matter what color you put it on top of, it will completely transform you manicure and make it super holographic!

RAINBOW SNOW

Here are two coats of Rainbow Snow. It is a fantastic silver holographic glitter polish. You really have to check out my video to see the full effect of this polish!
